The Mysterious Wreck quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley is a pivotal friendship mission that allows players to repair a broken raft and unlock Ariel. Starting the Mysterious Wreck Quest

To begin this quest, travel to Dazzle Beach and cross the shallow water to the small island located near Skull Rock. Near a wrecked raft on the sand, you will find a brown paddle lying on the ground. Picking up the paddle automatically triggers the quest and prompts you to speak with Goofy for assistance.

Gathering the Repair Materials

Goofy will provide a list of materials necessary to build a Raft Repair Kit. You will need to collect 30 Hardwood, 7 Rope, 25 Clay, and 10 Iron Ingots. Hardwood can be gathered from the ground in biomes like the Forest of Valor, while Clay is obtained by digging in the Glade of Trust. Crafting Rope requires Fiber made from Seaweed, and Iron Ingots require Iron Ore mined from rock spots.

Crafting the Raft Repair Kit

Once all required items are in your inventory, talk to Goofy to update your quest status. Next, approach any Crafting Station and locate the Raft Repair Kit under the Functional Items tab to assemble it. After completing the crafting process, speak to Goofy once more before heading back to Dazzle Beach.

Repairing the Raft and Finding Ariel

Return to the small island near Skull Rock and interact directly with the damaged raft. Submit the Raft Repair Kit to instantly restore the vessel to working condition. Boarding the newly repaired raft allows you to travel to a isolated island where you can meet Ariel and bring her home to the valley.
